I went into this wedding without an assistant. My friend backed out a few days before, because of school, which I would also consider priority, as long as you're attending. With such short notice, and the wedding being on a Friday, I just gave up on replacing her. It was a good 12-hour day, but I've shot enough weddings now to know when & how many shots I should take... so I limited myself from pure exhaustion. I took a third as many shots as I did for my very first wedding. Like any other wedding, there were complications and we did the bride & groom shots a month later, after they got from their honeymoon... and before I left on my vacations (photos to come!)
